Welcome to HEARA.

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using the HEARA website and booking or using our listening services.

By using the website or booking a HEARA session, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the service.


1. What HEARA Is

HEARA is a paid human listening service.

A HEARA session gives you a private, structured opportunity to talk to a human listener who listens respectfully and without unnecessary pressure to solve your situation.

HEARA is designed for conversation and listening.


2. What HEARA Is Not

HEARA is not:

  • Therapy
  • Counselling
  • Psychological treatment
  • Psychiatric care
  • Medical treatment
  • Diagnosis
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Relationship mediation
  • Dating
  • A friendship service
  • A romantic companionship service
  • An emergency or crisis service

HEARA listeners are not presented as doctors, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical professionals unless separately and explicitly identified as such for another service.


3. Who Can Use HEARA

HEARA sessions are intended for people aged 18 years and above.

By booking a session, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement.


4. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking information
  • Joining your session at the scheduled time
  • Maintaining a suitable private environment
  • Treating your listener respectfully
  • Following the Session Guidelines
  • Using the service for its intended purpose

5. Respectful Use

HEARA is intended to be a respectful and professional space.

You must not use the service to:

  • Threaten or abuse a listener
  • Harass or intimidate a listener
  • Make unwanted sexual comments or requests
  • Engage in sexual behaviour during a session
  • Attempt to develop an inappropriate personal or romantic relationship with a listener
  • Request personal contact details
  • Request meetings outside HEARA
  • Share malicious or illegal content
  • Impersonate another person
  • Attempt to misuse the platform or payment system

HEARA may end a session or restrict access if these rules are violated.


6. No Personal Contact Outside HEARA

To protect both customers and listeners, users must not attempt to exchange or obtain:

  • Personal phone numbers
  • Personal email addresses
  • Social media accounts
  • Home addresses
  • Private messaging accounts

for the purpose of continuing the relationship outside HEARA.

HEARA sessions are professional service interactions.


7. No Guarantee of a Particular Outcome

HEARA provides a listening service.

We do not guarantee that a session will:

  • Solve a personal problem
  • Remove stress
  • Improve a relationship
  • Change your emotional state
  • Provide a particular result

Many people may simply find value in having space to talk and be heard.


8. Crisis and Emergency Situations

HEARA is not an emergency or crisis service.

If you are in immediate danger, believe you may harm yourself or another person, or require urgent medical or mental-health support, please contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service immediately.

HEARA may end or redirect a session when a situation requires professional emergency support.


9. Payments

Sessions must be paid for through the available payment process before the session unless otherwise stated.

Prices displayed on the website are subject to change.

The price applicable at the time of booking will normally apply to that booking.


10. Cancellation and Refunds

Bookings are subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy published on the HEARA website.

By booking a session, you agree to that policy.


11. Service Availability

We try to keep HEARA available and reliable.

However, sessions may occasionally be affected by:

  • Internet problems
  • Technical issues
  • Payment failures
  • Platform outages
  • Listener availability
  • Maintenance
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Where reasonably possible, we will offer rescheduling or another appropriate solution.


12. Intellectual Property

The HEARA name, logo, website design, written content, graphics, branding, and other original materials belong to HEARA or its respective licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, or commercially use these materials without permission.


13. Changes to the Service

HEARA may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary.

We may also update these Terms from time to time.


14. Suspension or Termination

HEARA may suspend or terminate access if a user:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Abuses a listener
  • Misuses the service
  • Attempts fraud
  • Creates a safety risk
  • Uses the service for an inappropriate purpose

Where appropriate, any refund will be handled according to the Cancellation & Refund Policy.


15. Limitation of Responsibility

HEARA provides a listening service and does not provide professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or emergency advice.

You remain responsible for decisions you make based on conversations during a HEARA session.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.


16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts/authorities having jurisdiction over [Udumalpet, Tamilnadu, India], subject to applicable law.
